Ocean blues of the Gulf

The soft colors of the ocean and beaches here often left me speechless. I would come to these locations often (Johnson Beach National Seashore, Barrancas Beach, Fort Pickens) and gaze out into the ocean, mesmerized by the slow churn of the glimmering blues in the water. Each minute within the hour seemed like it brought forth a new variation in blue, often colors that I had never seen before.

This place is dear to me. I miss being able to sit on the silky white sands and watch the waves gently crash, trying to match my breathing with their rhythm. How lucky are we to have such a world!
